health insurance AUTISM & ROUTINES, KIDS and HUSBAND | ASPIE MOM ??

Although I have no official diagnosis, I definitely identify with Asperger's Syndrome (ASD) and as such find that sensory overload is a constant daily struggle for me, as is the need for strict routine.

As a Mom to two young children my days are hectic, to say the least and I feel like this chapter in life would be challenging for anybody in my shoes, but perhaps more so due to my "fragilities."

My husband has been home, on parental leave, in order to help me out. I've felt much shame and guilt about this, especially since I don't feel like it has helped me all that much.

I am appreciative of his being here and I realize the privilege of my situation. I realize I don't sound particularly grateful or happy in this video (emotional day), but having him home has brought on new challenged and struggles, as per sensory overload, communication and routine, ones which I hadn't foreseen and came as quite a shock and surprise.

Unfortunately our time together has been filled with many obstacles. It definitely has been a learning moment in my life.
